Vincent Luk had his birth into the world of photography through his Dad’s Zeiss Ikon Contessa LKE and his Mom’s Olympus Pen-EE. Influenced by the cameras that surrounded his childhood, it wasn’t long until he picked one up for himself and started snapping away. His work is often personal as it explores the essence of his own life experiences, through his travels, spirituality, and everyday encounters. He believes there's a sense of warmth and comfort from images captured on film, which he refers to as drawing with light.

He co-founded Hello Foto Inc. in an effort to explore the boundaries of photography and its possibilities. As an idea, Hello Foto Inc. stems from the personal philosophy that beauty in all its form can be found everywhere and anywhere. All it takes is a different perspective, open mind and perhaps, a little bit of courage to reach out and grab it.
